What is the roadside assistance cover?

Picture yourself on a country road with a car that won’t start. It’s dark, the wind is up and the nearest workshop is miles away. That’s exactly the situation nobody wants to be in — and exactly the one we don’t want you ever to have to worry about.

When you service your car at Källa Fordonservice you automatically get 12 months of roadside assistance cover through Autoexperten. At no extra cost. It isn’t an add-on and it isn’t something we try to sell you — it’s included with every service visit.

You service the car with us, you get 12 months of roadside assistance. That simple.

The cover gives you:

• Jump start — for battery or electrical problems
• Wheel change — for a puncture at the roadside
• Fuel delivery — if you run dry
• Recovery — if the car can’t be fixed on the spot, to the nearest Autoexperten workshop within 100 km
• Compensation — up to 8,000 kr across up to 2 occasions during the cover period

The cover applies to passenger cars. Microcars are excluded. If you want broader protection, there are add-on policies for EU coverage and for motorhomes.

How the roadside assistance works

Assistance is available around the clock, every day of the year. You don’t need to call us, you don’t need to find a recovery truck yourself, and you don’t need to negotiate prices at the roadside.

Here’s how it works:

1. Call 0771-61 83 00 — Assistancekåren’s service number, which is on your certificate of insurance
2. Tell them what’s happened — they assess the situation and send the right help
3. Help comes to you — a technician tries to fix the car on the spot
4. Recovery if needed — if the car can’t be repaired, it’s recovered to the nearest Autoexperten workshop or other qualified workshop within 100 km

You receive your certificate of insurance at the service visit itself. Save the number in your phone — hopefully you’ll never need to call it, but if you do, someone answers within minutes.

Recovery in Sweden, Norway and Denmark

The basic cover — Roadside Assistance, Passenger Car SE/NO/DK — covers you throughout Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Whether you drive to the mountains, down to Skåne or take the ferry to Denmark, the same protection applies.

For those of you who live on Öland and commute to Kalmar, or drive to Växjö, Stockholm or further afield, that’s an enormous reassurance. You know that if something happens on the road, there’s a system that takes care of you — wherever you happen to be.

It’s particularly valuable if you have an older car, drive a lot, or simply want to be rid of that nagging worry. Nobody should have to stand alone at the roadside wondering what happens now.
